Our Goal

Allahabad Nursing Home Association Charitable Blood Centre

At ANHCBC Blood Bank, we don’t just distribute blood—we strive to transform the healthcare ecosystem by making safe, timely, and equitable blood access a reality for every individual in need. Our goals are ambitious, data-driven, and rooted in compassion:

1. Eliminate Preventable Deaths Due to Blood Shortages
  • Target: Maintain a minimum stock of 200+ units daily across all blood groups, especially rare types (O-, AB-, etc.).
  • How?

o Predictive Demand Analysis: Partner with 50+ local hospitals to anticipate seasonal shortages (e.g., monsoon accidents, summer surgeries).

o Rapid Response Network: SMS/WhatsApp alerts to 5,000+ registered donors during emergencies. *(Stat to include: "Every year, 12,000+ patients in UP die due to delayed blood transfusions. We aim to cut this by 40% in Prayagraj by 2026.")*

2. Pioneer Ethical & Transparent Blood Banking
  • Zero Commercialization: Unlike private blood banks, we never charge recipients for blood (only processing fees as per NBTC guidelines).
  • Full Traceability: Every unit is barcode-tracked from donor vein to recipient. Example: Scan a QR code on your report to see where your blood was used.
3. Normalize Voluntary Blood Donation
  • Shift Mindsets: Replace replacement donors (family-for-family) with voluntary, repeat donors.
  • Community Challenges: "10,000 Pledges by 2025" – Recognize donors publicly via wall of fame.
  • Myth Busting: Tackle fears (e.g., "Donation weakens you") through school/college workshops.
