By accessing and using the services of the Allahabad Nursing Homes Association Charitable Blood Centre ("ANHCBC," "we," "us"), including our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Services Description
ANHCBC is a NABH-complied charitable blood bank. Our services include, but are not limited to:

  1. Organizing and facilitating voluntary blood donation camps.
  2. Collecting, processing, and storing blood and blood products.
  3. Distributing blood to patients through partner hospitals and directly, as needed.
  4. Providing educational resources on blood donation.

We strive for accuracy but do not guarantee the constant, uninterrupted availability of all blood types.
2. User Responsibilities

  1. Accuracy of Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration, donation, or when requesting blood.
  2. Eligibility for Donation: Donors must meet the health and eligibility criteria as per Indian medical standards and NBTC guidelines. Providing false health information is strictly prohibited.
  3. Prohibited Use: You agree not to misuse our services, website, or communication channels for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.

3. Blood Donation

  1. Health Screening: All donors must undergo a mandatory health screening. ANHCBC reserves the right to defer or refuse any donation based on medical grounds to ensure the safety of the donor and the recipient.
  2. No Commercial Value: You acknowledge that blood donated is a voluntary, charitable gift. It has no commercial value and cannot be sold.

4. Fees and Payments

  1. Zero Cost for Blood: In line with our ethical policy, we do not charge for blood itself.
  2. Processing Fees: As permitted by NBTC guidelines, we charge a processing fee to cover the costs of collection, testing, storage, and administration. This fee structure will be transparently communicated.

5. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including logos, text, and graphics, is the property of ANHCBC or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
6. Limitation of Liability
ANHCBC, its employees, and volunteers shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from:

  1. The use or inability to use our services.
  2. The availability or unavailability of a specific blood type.
  3. Any reliance placed by you on the completeness or accuracy of information on our website.

While we follow the highest standards of care, the final decision for blood transfusion rests with the treating physician at the hospital.
7. Links to Third-Party Websites
Our website may contain links to external sites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ANHCBC from any claim or demand due to your use of our services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
